The experiments were conducted in the field and laboratory conditions. The field experiment was conducted at Golapgonj, Sylhet and the laboratory experiment was conducted in plant pathology laboratory, Department of Plant Pathology and Seed Science, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet to identify the seed-borne fungal pathogens and their control. In laboratory experiment, different fungal pathogens were detected from the collected seed sample by Blotter test method. The detected pathogens were namely Aspergillus spp., Penecillium spp., Cercospora spp., Rhizopus spp. and Fusarium spp. Before sowing the seeds were treated with seven different treatments such as T1: Bavistin 50WP, T2: Secure 600WP, T3: Neem leaves extract (1:4 w/v), T4: Biskatali leaves extract (1:4 w/v), T5: Bavistin 50WP + Secure 600WP, T6: Neem leaves extract (1:4 w/v) + Biskatali leaves extract (1:4 w/v) and T7: control. The treatment T5: Bavistin 50WP + Secure 600WP were found to be the most effective in controlling seed-borne fungi. In case of field experiment similar seven treatments were used as spray solution. The lowest disease incidence (5.87%) and disease severity (2.30) was found in treatment T5: Bavistin 50WP + Secure 600WP and gave better response in yield (1482.67 kg ha-1). In case of treatment T5: Bavistin 50WP + Secure 600WP has also given the best result regarding yield contributing characters such as plant height (78.74 cm), pod length (10.24cm), number of seeds pod (9.00) and 1000 seeds weight (31.40 g) as compared to other treatments. -1 The results of the present studies suggested that the integrated use of these treatments effectively minimizing Cercospora leaf spot disease severity and increase its yield.en_US
