Hemato-biochemical parameters are the key features of good physiological condition. Where good physiological condition is the precursor of good production. For this reason the present study was aimed to observe the hemato-biochemical parameters of Black Bengal goats reared under rural condition in three upazila namely sylhet sadar, golapganj and zokiganj of Sylhet district. The objectives of the study aimed to assess the mean values of different hematological and biochemical profile on the basis of age and sex and determining differences among the mean values of different hematological and biochemical profile of black bengal goats in the study areas. A total number of 90 goats were selected from study areas and 30 from in each upazila. Among them 30 were male and rest 30 were female. All the goats selected randomly. Apparently, healthy animal of three age groups used for hematological parameters like total erythrocyte count (TEC), total leukocyte count (TLC), packed cell volume (PCV), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and hemoglobin (Hb) and various biochemical profiles like AST and ALT. Descriptive analysis was performed to check the mean and SE whereas One way Analysis of variance was performed to compare among the means. All the analysis was performed at the 0.05 significance level. There is no difference present in hematological and biochemical profile of black bengal goats among different study areas, as the p value obtained less than 0.05. Among age groups, there were differences present the TEC, TLC, PCV as the p value obtained less than 0.05. While for ESR no difference present as the p value obtained greater than 0.05. In case of male and female goats there are no differences in ESR, TLC, TEC, PCV as the p value obtained greater than 0.05. But Hb, AST and ALT were significantly differs as the p value obtained less than 0.05. It can be concluded that hematological and biochemical parameters increase with the increasing of ages and higher in male than female.en_US
